This page is devoted to the work of a non-Zuni carver, Melvin Sandoval, of San Felipe Pueblo. His carvings are outstanding for their sensitivity and abstract quality. Melvin lives on the pueblo and enjoys carvings that have stylistic individuality that have given a solid position in the field of fetish carvings. Melvin's wife. Irma, is Zuni and Melvin is deeply involved in Zuni culture and ceremonies
