Lorandina Scheche is the daughter of legendary carvers, Aaron Scheche and
Thelma (Weahkee) Scheche. Her grandfather was Theodore Kucate, who was one of
the carvers to carve for commercial clientele. Scheche offspring have been
very active in Zuni carving.
