Andres Quandelacy is the son of Ellen and Dixie Quandelacy and the sibling of Avery, Barlow, Dickie, Faye, Georgia, Sandra, Wilmer Quandelacy and Albenita Yunie. Andres began carving while in school,
and is credited withoriginating the bear-with-fish carving.
His work is featured in books by Kent McManus an by M. Rodee/J. Ostler
