Additional Info

Labradorite is a particular fascinating material. I ti si found at Paul's Island in Labrador, Canada, Norway and in Madagascar.

KIt's prinicipal attraction asamaterial for carvings and jewelry is it's iridescent optical effect. This is caused by the interior structure of the material, which refracts light with different colors and intensities depending on the angle at which the light source enters the substance.

As result, a carving in Labradorite takes on a new appearance and "personality" with each turn.
