This 'ancient' Zuni ram was carved from ammonoid fossil in 2007 by Abby Quam. The embedded fossil arrived on the planet several millennia before the creature was carved. Please note: a small area at left foot has missing material possibly as an artist’s decision. Nevertheless, we have reduced the price as an incentive to encourage you to look past the blemish and invest in the geological history of material in the hands of this remarkable carver.
